The main focus for the Quality Engineer will be to handle and improve inspection processes for incoming parts and materials. You will make sure the parts adhere to customer specs while also adhering to company policies.
You'll also take part in the testing and evaluating of parts and materials as they are manufactured into final products. You'll run the overall quality program in the plant, reporting directly to the Quality Manager on progress, changes that need to be made, improvements, and cost-cutting measures.
You'll design and draw up new Quality Check forms and instructions.
You'll write up new quality training manuals and conduct the training as needed.
You'll work closely with other departments, mainly the Manufacturing and Tooling Engineers on new tooling designs and new manufacturing processes.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. You must also have at least 2 years of experience working as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
